Smart AV Distribution understand running a business can be stressful and time consuming which is why we have made returning an unwanted or faulty item as simple as possible.

​Smart AV Distribution wont keep you waiting weeks for a credit or replacement, With over 95% of returned goods being credited within 24 hours.


If the returned product is a stocked line, is within our normal stock limit, has not been installed and the packaging is intact and not damaged we will credit the item once received (Discretionary restocking fee / handling charge may be applied)

​If it has been opened or installed, please discuss with a member of our sales team as we may be able to credit the item however there will be a heavier restocking / handing charge as the product has become 'Graded' and the product can no longer be sold as new.​


Non stocked products (marked NCNR) are ordered in on your behalf and are non cancellable and non returnable or may be subject to a larger restocking fee. Please make sure the item is required before placing order.


Smart AV Distribution work hard and follow key processes to make sure all of our customers receive the products they have ordered, fast and in great condition. We are pride ourselves on our service, however mistakes can happen.

​In the event you receive an item incorrectly or damaged we will resolve the problem as soon as possible and usually the same day / next working day.


If upon installation an item is found to be faulty we will either replace it (limited to 28 days from the date of purchase from us) or arrange for a direct replacement from the manufacturer. Should an advanced replacement be required it would be on a chargeable basis in line with your account terms. This product will then be credited once the faulty product is returned, checked and deemed to be faulty. Credits cannot be raised if there is no fault found or the product has been mistreated or incorrectly installed.


All new products supplied are covered by a minimum of a years warranty (excluding internal batteries).
Some manufacturers offer extended warranties please confirm with a member of our sale team.


Certain products under warranty can be collected and repaired or replaced by the manufacturer direct.
Please always check with our sales team before taking an action returning items.
